In designing, engineering, and producing The Square House we have attempted to solve old problems with simple solutions. Our designs start with a focus on building with material efficiency as a cornerstone while creating a highly efficient layout which maximizes usable square footage.
We have been able to meet the very specific needs of a small but rapidly growing percentage of the population who truly believe that we will all do better if we can all do with less. 
Our contemporary structures have been designed and engineered to provide a small, open floor plan constructed of exceedingly high quality materials and practices while remaining budget oriented. 
Our goal is to provide a great home at a great price without taxing the planet for resources, our client's budgets, or our client's time for maintenance down the road.
The Square House is 1225 square feet, passive solar with a three zone radiant heating system. The layout features two bedrooms (or one bedroom and one studio or office), one full bathroom, two walk-in closets, and a large combination living room, dining room, and kitchen.
The kitchen is a single wall layout with a variety of available cabinet materials and design based upon your needs. 
All rooms in the house are wired for communications (phone and internet), coaxial TV outlets as well as recessed lighting on dimmable light switches. 
The floors are smooth finished, acid-etched, buffed and sealed concrete. Countertop options include plate steel, stainless steel, and Gibraltar Stone.
